Hartford: 1919. 8vo. 16 pp. In very good condition. Interior clean, light browning to margins of text. Approx 2cm from both corners and along spine of front cover missing (torn). Small tear along upper spine end as well, and very light chipping to fore-edge and lower spine end of front. Sunning to all edges of covers. "The Mayor's Americanization Committee of Hartford was appointed in the Fall of 1917" for the purpose of "teaching the foreigners resident in the City of Hartford the english language and the ideals of American citizenship."
