Peregrin and the Goldfish.
Seidmann-Freud, Tom.

Berlin and New York: Peregrin Press and The Macmillan Co., 1929. Unpaginated - approx. 30 pgs. Recently rebacked in tan quarter-cloth, with new endpapers. Rubbing and light knicking to the edges of the original boards, small chips of paper overlay missing from the corners, corners very lightly bumped. Light soiling to boards, original endpapers, and scattered throughout text. Soiling does not interfere with readability or the illustrations. Some neat pencil notations scattered throughout. Beautifully illustrated in color. Cover depicts a blond-haired child sleeping on the grass with a red fish floating above him. "One hot summer evening Peregrin fell asleep under a tree. He dreamed that he was walking along a street carrying a bowl, in which Nickeling, his pet goldfish, swam." Very Good Hard Cover (Item ID: 118887)
