Frontispiece displaying various masonic or cabalistic symbols, portrait preceding title page. Folding plates are in very good condition, tears to some. Leather worn and stained, bumping to corners w/ board exposure, large damp stain to rear cover w/ white paper stuck to it. Raised bands to spine, bumping to spine ends, chipping and cracking to leather, 5" crack starting at head. Front cover detached but present. Gift inscription to ffep. Browning to textblock, browning to page edges. Soiling to some pages, chipping and wear to edges of some pages. Top corner of ffep clipped. "The First, Intreating of the Beginning and first Ages of the same, from the Creation unto Abraham; The Second, Of the Times from the Birth of Abraham to the destruction of the Temple of Salomon; The Third, From the destruction of Jerusalem to the time of Philip of Macedon; The Fourth, From the Reign of Philip of Macedon, to the establishing of that Kingdom in the Race of Antigonus; The Fifth, From the settled Rule of Alexander Successors in the East, untill the Roman (prevailing over all) made Conquest of Asia and Macedon."
