Slight wear at top and bottom of spine, at corners, and very slight wear along joints. Spine faded. Front bright except for "ha" in harp and "nd" in thousand. Frontis. and illustrations. Title page and preceding blanks stained by frontis. A very nice copy overall. Very rare humor anthology includes first book appearance of George Washington Harris' "Sut Lovingood's Yarns," and of "Lewis Carroll," with the story "Novelty and Romancement: A Broken Spell."
