Rubbing, scratching to leather. Slight off-setting to text from opposite illustration. Some pages near front have some slight foxing, no illustrations or text touched by foxing. Most pages are nice and clean otherwise. 1 of 75 copies. Many illustrations throughout. Criticism from the Edinburgh Review on his first publication 'Hours of Idleness' enraged Byron so that he created this piece. "He instantly set about taking his revenge in this satire, in which he involved in one common storm of invective not only his enemies of the Edinburgh Review, but almost all the literary men of the day- Walter Scott, Moore, and a thousand others, from whom he had received no provocation whatever."
