Boston: D. Lothrop & Company, 1881. Hard Cover. 321 pp. 8vo (squarish). Recently rebacked in green half-cloth and the original pictorial boards, with gilt lettering to the spine and new endpapers. Original boards are edgeworn and lightly soiled, with closed tears and small chips of color overlay missing at the edges. Light smoke damage to reverse of frontispiece and approx. 3 pgs of text, light soiling to scattered margins. Small pencil mark to a few chapter headings, otherwise unmarked. Binding tight. "Written by children under sixteen years of age." Very Good. Item #119601
