Mottled brown calf with 5 raised bands. 156 pp., 312 pp., 322 pp., 317 pp. + appx. 40 pp. index at rear of each volume. Spine labels faded, hinges rubbed, front boards detached but present on all four volumes. Wear to board edges, corners and endbands. Volume II headband detached, others starting. Faded ink ownership signature “John Matson 1901” to feps, Volume I also shows newer signature of previous owner Henry Ebel in blue ballpoint. Few scattered pencil markings to eps and indices.
