Folding map is missing from Vol. 1. Light foxing throughout both vols, light browning to textblocks. Vol 1: Damp-staining to upper fore-edge of textblock and to upper third of approx. first 20 pgs of text; small piece missing from half-title and original rep; vertical crease and light pencil notations to original rear endpapers. Vol 2: Slight soiling to new eps and textblock; faint damp-staining to fore-edge margin of approx. last 20 pgs of text; sporadic pencil markings to scattered text margins.
