Scuffing ad edgewear to boards. Rubbing to leather, bumpinig to corners w/ board exposure, small peeled spots to leather on all volumes. Hinges split, repaired where possible. P.o.'s stamp and ink signature to fep of each volume. Page edges faintly browned. Last 3 volumes have more significant wear to spines, author labels mostly missing from last 2 volumes. Guizot's vol. I fep is torn at joint approx 7". Volumes I-V are by Guizot and cover pre-Revolution history, the last 3 cover are by Martin history from the Revolution to the date of publication.
